India Travel requirements (Apr 2022)

Depending on the country from which you begin your travel, India currently requires you to either have a Covid-19 RT-PCR test conducted within 72 hours of your travel or have received full dose of an approved Covid-19 vaccination.

The list of countries from which you only need to upload the vaccination certificate and skip the 72-hour testing requirement totals 107 as of April 2022, and includes USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, among others.



Notable exceptions include Pakistan, Germany, France, Norway, China. If you are travelling from one of these countries, you will still be required to upload a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of your travel and upload to Air Suvidha portal.
