New Citi 80,000 American Airlines Miles Offer in mail

Citi has as new offer out for its American Airlines' AAdvantage Business card which is currently being sent by mail.

The offer is for 80,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $5,000 in first 5 months of account opening. This appears to be the highest ever offer for the card and also waives the annual fee for the first year. You also get a generous time of 5 months to finish the expenses.

Offer Details:

  • 80,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after $5000 spend in 5 months
  • $99 annual fee waived for first year
  • 2x on American Airlines, Car Rentals, Gas stations, Cable, Satellite and Telecommunications merchants, 1x else where
  • Earn 1 Loyalty Points per dollar spent

American miles currently hold the most value among the big four US airlines. For e.g. you can fly from US to Asia for 70K miles in business class with less than $100 in taxes, and you can fly to Europe for 22,500 miles in Economy with few taxes.

The offer lists an end date of 6/15/24 so definitely be on the lookout for it if you wish to apply.
