 1. Emirates Skywards loses JetBlue Business Class availability

You can no longer book JetBlue Mint class using Emirates Skywards miles. The economy awards can still be booked.

2. Fiji Airways launching Nadi to Vancouver flights

Fiji Airways is launching Fiji to Vancouver flights starting 11/25/22. Fiji Airways is not a full fledged OneWorld member but a OneWorld connect member but you can still redeem points from Alaska, AA and Cathay Pacific.

3. Increased spend bonuses

    1. Venmo credit card - 6% on top spend category until 12/31 (Email offer)

        The spend category includes Utilities which is unheard of. Besides Venmo. others that include Utilities as a spend bonus is Barclays Wyndham Business Earner card.

        They had a similar deal last year. 6% cashback is unheard of when it comes to utilities unless you are buying gift cards with Chase Ink Cash cards and using them to make utility payments and then using Chase points at 1.2c or higher, which is easy. Still, the simplicity of cashback cannot be denied.

    2. Aeroplan card - 10x on international transactions until 9/30

        Aeroplan card has been luring its customers to spend more with various offers. The latest offer is 10x on all international transactions up to $1500 in spend from 7/1 to 9/30.
